Flexabed Mattresses: Which Type Is Your Type?
Flexabed mattresses are designed to fit the unique needs of any adjustable bed customer—from basic adjustable Innerspring constructed mattresses featured with Flexabed Value-Flex models to designer mattress options with taped edges on Innerspring, Innerspring/Memory Foam Combination, Memory Foam Core, Gel Memory Foam, Latex and Low Profile constructed mattresses featured with only Flexabed's Premier and Hi-Lo models.
All Flexabed mattresses feature multi-layered, quilted cushion-tops made with hi-density, super-soft polyurethane foam and flame-resistant polyester fiber, while the bottom layers are protected by a non-skid material that prevents the mattress from sliding across the adjustable foundation and provides a flame-resistant barrier.
Value-Flex Mattress Options

Premier and Hi-Lo Mattress Options
Flexabed Premier and Hi-Lo mattress options feature an upgraded knit fabric ornate motif with contrasting piping edge treatment, and an attractive contrasting grey fabric profile. Innerspring *included in base price on all Value-Flex, Premier, and Hi-Lo models
Flexabed adjustable Innerspring mattresses are included in the base price of all Value-Flex, Premier and Hi-Lo models. Innerspring constructed mattresses are inner bonded to insure durability, superb tailoring with maximum support and comfort. Available in Soft, Medium and Firm density options, each Innerspring mattress includes a high-density comfort-layer polyurethane foam pad and quilted top. This mattress option is available in Twin, Full, Queen, Dual Queen (only Value-Flex and Premier) and Dual King sizes. Mattress Height: Approximately 10" (8.75" to taped decorative edge).
Low Profile *only available on Premier and Hi-Lo models
The Low Profile mattress option is also included in the Premier and Hi-Lo base prices, but not available with Value-Flex models. Flexabed's adjustable Low Profile mattress reduces the overall bed height by 4.75", which can be a tremendous benefit to users who need an overall lower bed height. Extremely comfortable and just 5.25" high, each Low Profile mattress is made of high density polyurethane foam core with quilted top, and will not leave body impressions. This is considered to be a "Medium" density mattress. Mattress Height: Approximately 5.25" (4.25" to taped decorative edge). This mattress option is only offered with Premier and Hi-Lo models. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, Dual Queen (only Premier) and Dual King sizes.
Innerspring/Memory Foam Combination *only available on Premier and Hi-Lo models
The Innerspring/Memory Foam Combination mattress combines the traditional support of innerspring with the luxury body-hugging memory foam. Every Innerspring/Memory Foam mattress features a Visco memory foam comfort layer with gel top to help reduce heat build-up, as well as a quilted padding above the innerspring unit that is inner-bonded to insure durability. This is considered to be a "Medium" density mattress. Mattress Height: Approximately 10" (8.75" to taped decorative edge). This mattress option is only offered with Premier and Hi-Lo models. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, Dual Queen (only Premier) and Dual King sizes.
Memory Foam Visco Core *only available on Premier and Hi-Lo models
Flexabed's Memory Foam Visco Core mattress offers that "melt-into-your-bed" feel as it cradles every curve and pressure point on your body. This is considered to be a "Medium Firm" density mattress. Unlike most traditional memory foam mattresses that retain body heat, Flexabed's Memory Foam construction features a 2" Gel Foam layer with quilted topper to help keep the mattress surface cooler. Each mattress base is constructed with the Visco memory foam comfort layer with polyurethane foam core. Mattress Height: Approximately 10" (8.75" to taped decorative edge). This mattress option is only offered with Premier and Hi-Lo models. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, Dual Queen (only Premier) and Dual King sizes.
Gel Memory Foam *only available on Premier and Hi-Lo models
Flexabed's Gel Memory Foam mattress offers the cradling comfort of its Memory Foam mattress, but adds a 3.25" Gel-Infused Memory Foam layer that provides a cool surface and smooth topper. This is considered to be a "Firm" density mattress, while still conforming to curves and pressure points on your body. Every Gel Memory Foam mattress features 100% gel-infused foam to wick heat away from your body and eliminate surface "hot spots" for a consistently cooler sleep surface temperature. This mattress option is only offered with Premier and Hi-Lo models. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, Dual Queen (only Premier) and Dual King sizes.
Latex Foam Core *only available on Premier and Hi-Lo models
Flexabed's Latex Foam Core mattress is considered to be a "Medium Firm" density mattress, yet providing the soft feel and dynamic support of a luxurious, custom-molded mattress. The surface resists the "sinking" sensation that some users report with memory foam mattresses. The Latex Foam Core mattress still provides a "body-conforming" feel, but offers more elasticity and a faster surface "response time," which makes it easier to maneuver yourself when pushing off the mattress surface with your arms, elbows or heels to reposition. Recommended for patients who are bedridden, or for heavier users. The 100% natural rubber latex core is constructed with Talalay latex laminated to a polyurethane foam core to create a solid base of support, and topped with quilted padding. Mattress Height: Approximately 10" (8.75" to taped decorative edge). This mattress option is only offered with Premier and Hi-Lo models. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, Dual Queen (only Premier) and Dual King sizes.
