G Tubes for Enteral Feeding at Home

G tubes, also called gastrostomy tubes, are feeding tube products used as part of an enteral feeding system. Depending on the product and system, options may include standard or low-profile tube designs and related components used for feeding at home. When comparing gastrostomy tube products, review the tube size, connector type, system specifications and compatible accessories carefully to make sure the product matches the user's existing enteral feeding setup.

Choosing Compatible Tube Extension Sets and Accessories

Some G-tube systems require compatible extension sets or other accessories to connect the tube with feeding supplies. Compatibility can vary by tube brand, model, connector type and size, so shoppers should review the specifications for both the gastrostomy tube and any related extension products before purchasing. If you are unsure which tube or accessory is compatible with an existing system, contact New Leaf Home Medical's product specialist for assistance.
