Closed Two-Piece Pouches have a closed pouch and a separate adhesive base plate, also known as a wafer. The pouch allows the user to adhere the flange before attaching the pouch, which usually results in a better fit. The two-piece system also allows the user to swap pouch size, such as using a bigger pouch during the day and a smaller pouch overnight.
